Daily Word Unlimited is the same guessing game as the daily puzzle, without the wait. Find the hidden five-letter word in six tries, and the next word is ready as soon as you finish. Play one game on a coffee break, or twenty in a row.
How to Play
Type a five-letter word and press Enter. The tiles then show how close you are:
- Green: right letter, right spot.
- Orange: the letter is in the word, but somewhere else.
- Gray: the letter is not in the word.
Every guess has to be a real word, and a letter can appear more than once.
What Makes Unlimited Different
- No daily words Unlimited never picks a word from the daily puzzle, so practicing here won't spoil tomorrow's answer.
- Dictionary forms only The answers are everyday words as a dictionary lists them: no plurals and no verb forms like WALKS or TAKEN. You can still type those as guesses.
- Stats for each length Your games, win rate and winning run are kept separately for every word length, right in your browser.
Try Other Lengths

Is there a limit to how many games I can play?
No. Play as many words as you like. A word only comes back once you have seen every word of that length.
Does Unlimited count toward my daily streak?
No. Your daily streak only grows with the daily puzzle. Unlimited counts your wins in a row instead, separately for each length.
