Printable Word Search Puzzles

Some puzzles are just better on paper: a coffee table, a pencil, no screen. Every word search on this site can be printed as a clean black-and-white sheet with the grid, the word list, and the theme, and nothing else. No account, no PDF downloads to hunt for, and no limit on how many you print.

How it works

1. Open the printable word search puzzles page.
2. Pick a theme you like. There are fifty of them, from animals to music, and the puzzle can be generated in seven languages.
3. Press the print button in the corner (or just hit Ctrl+P). Your browser's print dialog opens with a paper-friendly page: no dark background, no buttons, just the puzzle.
4. Want another? Start a new game and print again. Every grid is freshly generated, so no two sheets are the same.

What you get on the page

The printed sheet keeps only what a paper solver needs: the letter grid at a comfortable size, the full word list underneath, and the theme at the top. Words hide in all eight directions, including backward and diagonal, exactly like the on-screen game.

Good to know

• Portrait orientation fits best on A4 and US Letter.
• Black ink only, so it is cheap to print in bulk for a classroom, a care home, or a rainy afternoon.
• If you also play on screen, your saved game is not affected by printing.
