Word Unscrambler

Type your letters to see every word you can make with them, from the longest down to three letters.

Use ? for a blank tile that can be any letter.

Unscramble letters into words

Stuck with a rack of tiles, a jumbled puzzle or a set of letters you want to make the most of? Type them in and the unscrambler lists every word you can make, grouped by length so the longest words come first. You don't have to use every letter, but each letter can only be used as many times as you typed it.

Common words first

Everyday words are highlighted and sorted to the front of each group. The rest are real but rarer words, the kind that count in word games. Switch on Common words only to hide them, for example when you're playing with children.

Blank tiles

Add a ? for each blank tile or unknown letter, up to three. Letters filled in by a blank are shown in orange, so you can see at a glance which tiles you'd need.

Practice your unscrambling

Hunting for words in a handful of letters is the whole idea of our Anagrams game, and Word Hunt has you finding them on a 4×4 grid against the clock. Both are free and new every round.
