Anagram Solver
Type a word or a jumble of letters. You'll see every word that uses all of them, and two-word anagrams for longer names and phrases.
Use ? for a blank tile that can be any letter.
Find every anagram of a word
An anagram uses exactly the same letters as another word, only in a different order: LISTEN becomes SILENT, ENLIST or TINSEL, and HEART becomes EARTH. This solver checks your letters against a full English dictionary and shows every word that uses all of them, with the most common words first.
Two-word anagrams for names and phrases
Longer names and phrases rarely make one word, so the solver also splits your letters into two words. ASTRONOMER turns into MOON STARER, for example. Pairs made of common words come first, so the best finds sit at the top.
Blank tiles
Type ? for a letter you don't know or a blank tile in a word game, up to three of them. The letters a blank stands for are shown in orange. When no single word uses all your letters, the solver lists the words that use all but one.
Solve anagrams yourself
To get faster at unscrambling, look for familiar endings such as -ING or -ER first, then place the awkward letters. Our guide on how to get better at anagrams walks through it, and the Anagrams game lets you practice with a new set of letters every round.
